Nehemiah & Mildred Brown Rentals is a home-grown, self-made rental property company founded by Nehemiah & Mildred Brown. For 75 years, N & M Brown Rentals has been a tradition of trust. Your comfort is our business; all rental properties have your comfort in mind. Located in the beautiful city of Norfolk, Va., our homes and apartments are conveniently positioned near well-kept gardens, tree-lined streets, and some have a dynamic view of the city skyline. All N & M properties are clean, spacious, comfortable, and include parking. Kitchen appliances are included at all N & M locations.

The Founders
Family owned-your family is our family. Nehemiah & Mildred Brown were united in marriage for over 75 years. Out of that marriage came ten children. Out of necessity to provide a safe, comfortable home for their children, they utilized this passion to provide safety and comfort to others. Always willing to help their community, the Browns have helped many families find safe and affordable housing. Mr. & Mrs. Brown were always fair with their tenants and treated all of them with respect. This tradition has been handed down to their children.

Adding to the community has always been the goal of Nehemiah & Mildred Brown. The name Nehemiah means "comforted of Yah," or God comforts. Nehemiah cared deeply about his community's physical and spiritual well-being, and God used him to protect and lead His people. Walking in that spirit, Nehemiah & Mildred have helped countless families keep a roof over their heads.
